The Studios Performing Arts
The Studios Performing Arts was created to offer a supportive environment for performers of all levels to learn and create art. What started as a passion project of my love for show choir, has grown into a need in our community. A place where we can teach performers new and growing and put on events / performances to give back to the surrounding areas.
We put on our first Show Choir performance in October of 2024 with 26 performs and have since almost doubled that number and continue to provide two sessions a year. Show Choir will only be one area of programming that we plan to offer. As we continue to grow, we will strive to offer programs that include master classes, Mainstage Musical Theatre, Cabaret Series, Teen & Kid camps, and so much more.
Whether your new to the arts or have done it for years, come be apart of our story.
Meet the Director
Kyle graduated from Illinois State University in May of 2017 with a B.S. in Integrated Marketing Communications. Throughout his educational career there was one thing that kept me motivated - performing. He's been a part of choirs from 3rd grade all the way up to his senior year of college. In high school his performed in Waubonsie Valley High School's Sound Check and performed/directed Illinois State University's Show Choir, Vocal Movement. Performing has always had a positive impact on his life.
Upon graduation he was sad to leave performing behind. In 2022 he took the leap and auditioned for his first community theatre production and it has been a great way to get involved in the community and meet some wonderful people. The Studios Performing Arts is excited to start offering programs for performers of all skill levels to create art and hone in on their performing skills.
Kyle excited to share his enthusiasm and knowledge to our programming. He has Directed The Show Choir Studios from it's inception, Little Mountain Community Theatre's My Grand Plan! Teen Cabaret Camp, and is excited to make his Mainstage Musical Directorial debut with LMCT in Summer of 2026. Performing highlights include LeFou in Beauty and the Beast (Magical Starlight Theatre), Ham in Children of Eden (Little Mountain Community Theatre), and Troy Bolton in High School Musical (Theater for Charity).

"I am so excited that The Show Choir Studios is on its way to many, many wonderful seasons of performers under the leadership of it's founder, Kyle. Sitting in the audience watching the very first performance with the diverse group of singers and dancers was so much fun!
Not everyone on stage had previous show choir experience, but EVERYONE had fun and was thoroughly engaged in the songs and dances. The voices blended so well and truly made me want to be up there with them. All the hard work paid off. I can't wait to see them grow!"
